Ximena López Urquizo (1994, @xlu.art) is an emerging Peruvian artist. Daughter of a renowned visual artist, she began her training in anatomical drawing, painting, and sculpture in Lima. In 2022, she moved to Barcelona to refine her technique at the Barcelona Academy of Art (BAA).

There, she participated in her first surrealist group exhibition at Toolip Art Gallery. Upon returning to Lima in 2023, she joined ASARVIPE and exhibited in respected galleries and museums. In February 2024, she held her first solo exhibition, “Spirits on the Orb”, at Martín Yepez Gallery.

Her work explores imaginary worlds through a figurative lens, blending surrealism into existential themes. Using color as a central force, she paints emotions, love, and the cycle of life—bringing fluidity and vibrancy into urban environments.​
